Image description
Trying to interject a little humour here. Always fascinating is the record that actually survives from the history of science/technology. I found a picture like this on the web, so tried to reproduce it. I love the latent eroticism associated with the X-ray's penetrating eye, betrayed here in the choice of 'subject'.
Description of how this image was created
All features hand-modelled by me with Wings 3d. They are then given an absorbing media material and pictured inside an ambient and textured sphere for a background.

1.   31-08-2007 Always wondered how a foot would look inside a high-heeled boot :-) Now I know! I am impressed by the technical achievement.
2.   29-08-2007 That's a nice leg and boot portrayed there. ;) *Nice* experiment.
3.   13-08-2007 I love the concept here. Whether intended or not I hink it nicely captures the idea of how science wants to look beyond the exterior and into the inner workings of everything. It is also a stunning piece of art.
