Waiting for the sun to break through the clouds on a rainy day.
Description of how this image was created
No lightsources used just a bright layered pigment texture on a sky sphere and radiosity. The rain on the window is a blob and the path outside is an isosurface. for those with good eyesight the car (on the harbour wall on the left) is Gilles Trans mini cooper and the bus on the right is also Gilles Trans.

1.   31-12-2009 Nice rain drops
2.   28-12-2009 Illuminated? The droplets? Yeah that works. What a good execution. Excellent quality. - DrNo
3.   26-12-2009 A Dreich Day in Dunoon :-) [SMcA]
4.   22-12-2009 I think the first version I saw on the newsgroups was better, with less drops on the glass sheets. Anyhow, very good work on these rain effects!
5.   21-12-2009 the idea is very good, but i would have liked a bit of more realism on the wood. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any kind of shadows, so the lighting feels "strange". Anyway a VERY GOOD idea
6.   17-12-2009 Very convincing!
