Image description
Not much story or concept to back this....just straight forward product of imagination... An imaginary dragon temple, in some imaginary part of the world. The light enters from a cross, cut on the wall, with an oval hole behind the main brass dragon deity. Lot of chinese influence can be seen in the picture.
Description of how this image was created
The main inspiration is from The Church of Light in Japan.....actually the i modified the church model to form the basic block of the building. The guy is made to stand on the carpet to indicate the scale of the temple. The material of the main deity is my best attempt at making it look like brass....

1.   31-08-2009 Very very nice image. My only crit would be the scaling of the large lanterns near the back wall compared to the front lanterns.
2.   31-08-2009 Very nice. I think an ultra-wide camera angle would really have help to sell this shot - the perspective is too vertical throughout.
3.   30-08-2009 The more I look at it, the more I feel the high technical of this picture.
4.   29-08-2009 The lighting is quite impressive and makes the image interesting but on closer inspection it also seems to have some flaws. Maybe the textures need more work? And I find that tourist (isn't he wearing blue jeans?) a bit out of place. Scale is already indicated by the height of the railing. -Ive
5.   26-08-2009 [ThomdeG] An impressive work. Careful attention to details and a balanced lighting. A winner as far as I am concerned.
6.   23-08-2009 I like this. Beautiful lighting - although I would have used less light on the right side; through the cross we should see some landscape - or the light coming from there should "bleed". Lovely temple model, don't know how much of it is your own work though.
7.   17-08-2009 The difficulty with these types of images is getting every thing you want to see in the shot. I think that it is brave of you making the verticals not parallel.
