Image description
If you have ever plaid Role Playing Games, you will know what i am talking about. Your first AD&D game, your first character, your first dice rolls..... Place the lead miniatures on the table, and face the monsters the master prepare for you, and then fight them to the last. Since that time (about 30 years ago), i always think about dragons several times a day.
Description of how this image was created
Modelling is quite simple here. The table cloth is a quite heavy model, coz i wanted to have the relief on it. The glass of coke is to add another souvenir Good games for all the players

1.   31-08-2009 Nice concept but I feel the pencil is way too small?
2.   31-08-2009 I love that you used the original covers! I still have all of those books and Gygax's intro module.
3.   30-08-2009 Since I played myself, I also thought about this idea of AD&D, but couldn't find a way to put it as a concept. This glass of yours suggests another level of interpretation that is reinforced by the French text (the way you used to play). I also like the caustic illumination. Maybe too much ambient for the book yellow pages, and maybe a bit too "perfect" or "clean", but still a nice technical overall.
4.   29-08-2009 Actually I have never played D&D but - to me - the image does not convey the exitement that role playing might have. Lighting is a bit weak, pitch black shadows. And did you really drink Coke? Not Ale, Cider, Met or Blood Wine? -Ive
5.   23-08-2009 Not bad - you're improving; the books look realistic, (though the covers should be a bit thinner, and have smoother edges) and the glass of coke looks real good (albeit more like a plastic cup than a glass). You definitely need to pay more attention to scale though: The pencil is much too small, the glass should be a bit bigger, and the dice are much too large; the dice also seem quite wrong in many other respects: The edges look queer (fotgot to erase helper lines in your texture bitmap?), and something seems to be wrong with the numbers (applied a displacement map wrong way round, making the numbers protrude instead of recede?)
6.   17-08-2009 Nice and clean and a different take on the subject
