1.   31-12-2008 I like the concept of this image and the relevancy of our troubled times is a good subject to depict and I think it is well depicted here. Yes, mere pawns...
2.   29-12-2008 Good shot. I would have used an actual crowd instead of a reflection. But you have this style, very unique and successful once again.
3.   19-12-2008 I'm guessing, nice use of mirrors. I like the texture on the cubes the two people are standing on.
4.   14-12-2008 A bit more description would have done the concept good, 'cause I don't seem to get it; given that they're standing on unstable ground, their posture should show a bit more of struggling to keep their balance; chair shape could have been chosen so that each shape resembles a type of chess piece; checkering is wrong way round compared to real chess board; lighting looks somewhat strange, as if you had used a radiosity pretrace but changed the scene before the final render; for the sphere, a pattern-based checkering would have done good, using the checker pattern with a spherical projection warp
