Image description
I wanted to do something surreal, an imaginary world with only checker. In this world there are no human being and the chess go itself but the chameleon disturb thisstate...
Description of how this image was created
Everything in the scene was modeled and textured by me. I have passed a lot of time with the chameleon; I used box modeling for that. A lot of work also with the light and the fog.

1.   31-12-2008 The overwhelming blue makes it difficult to read. If you have used another color for the main checkering (ground), then the reflections, etc. would better show the various regions. The green creatures already help for that as we can see the green refractions, which helps reading the image. Overall very good technical shot.
2.   31-12-2008 I don't know what it is, but I always like blue in 3D images, and this is blue! Your aim of producing something surreal clearly worked. Nice image.
3.   19-12-2008 I don't know quite what to make of it.
4.   13-12-2008 Very surreal indeed! Excellent modelling work; choice of materials for the chess pieces is a bit problematic because we can't tell the translucent from the reflective too well. The castle looks a bit out of place. You have some artifacts on the floor, as if from a bitmap that's scaled up too much. All in all very disturbing but at the same time aesthetic.
