I'm not sure what to say with this one. However, I can say I don't really think it goes with the spirit of the compeition. While you may have used a renderer (you don't say) it could very easily have been done with a simple editing program. Thus the low technical rating.
That said, I do like the image and I think it's an ok concept. Although my eyes swim a little while looking at it :)

Neat pattern. Looks like something someone would use as a wallpaper... Although the colours would be a bit bright for that.
I've seen other illusions like that that make the image seem like it's moving. Good work in getting that effect.
Failing to really get how this fits with the current round's theme though.

Oh! This is very original. One of the images I most appreciate in this round, really.

I love a good optical illusion :) The waves are very noticeable to me, and I had to look a couple times to make sure it wasn't animated.
The color constrasts are obvious, as is the circle in the square. Not much was said about the contrast in perception versus reality though...I can infer that from the image, but mentioning it in the description would have been nice.
I'd really like a bit more information about how the image was created, though. Nothing appeared for me under renderer, tools, or the description. People have been making images like this for many years, without the use of a 3D renderer. Thus, even though I like the image, I can't assume that this was anything more than a hand-drawn image.

I don't feel any art in it, but the optical illusion just works and is pretty impressive.

I love these Vasarely-type images - made quite a few of them too!
I'd like to suggest zooming in on the image a little, so the center gets more attention. No harm in making the image square either!

I like this, it is clever and a good implementation of the optical illusion
