Image description
From this perspective, which is the moon? I suppose as you are gazing out into the void before you engage your FTL drive, this sign and the friendly robot attendant (Fred) would be a welcome sight. What do you think the price of petrol will be by this time?
Description of how this image was created
Fairly straight forward primitives. The surface of the moon is a stock file photo of the moon laid down in the terrain editor. Everthing else is simple and kind of cool looking. I would have gotten more complex with POV, but I only discovered this site a few days ago and rushed to find an idea.

Comments by members when rating this image
1.   29-04-2008 Overall, very cartoon-like (not necessarily a bad thing).
2.   20-04-2008 Artistic is good. Concept is good. Artistic? It grabbed my attention from the off.
3.   19-04-2008 You made a good start, but your lack of time is telling indeed. The Moon surface needs a bit more relief by using a height_field for the foreground with the craters. The Earth looks a bit squashed. Did you change your camera ratio's and/or render window size?
