Do you ever get the feeling you're going in spirals?
Description of how this image was created
The trees are a 3D version of a Pythagoras tree. After I made one of those, I made a fractal landscape and my own version of quantum weather butterflies. The butterflies used a black and white picture of the Mandelbot set for the shape. I also wanted to make a higher resolution fractal coastline, but I didn't finish that. Gimp was used only to change to jpeg.
