Image description
Not all wilderness is barren but there are high deserts where clouds pass over without dropping any rain.
Description of how this image was created
The mountains are isosurfaces. The foreground rocks are another isosurface. The figure is simple CSG. Ground fog is added to give more perspective. The sky is an image map of one of my cloud photos which is modified by coloured lighting and a spotlight.

Photo-sky blends well. isosurface rocks are good (but with some holes that look like water). figure simplistic.

The mountains are nice, but 2/3 of the image is a photo shy, and that's just not CG. Maybe try using Gilles Tran's MakeCloud macro next time?
