Image description
Man is a part of nature. It was in the early age one of the different existing creature.
Thus he has his place in Nature.
But, but, but .....
What makes men so different. Why does men behave like this ?
How has men come to the point of not feeling as part of Nature any more?
Because of the tools we where the only able to invent ?
Because we are too proud, and we can't support being compared to animals?
Description of how this image was created
The fire is particle flow, blob meshed, with a sophisticated material it took me long to fine tune (at least i am satisfied of it).
I took a free model of an ape, that i animated with a complete skeleton.
I had my first trial with the hairs and furs tool from 3DS max. You will appreciate the hair styling.
I also wanted to add some grass with the same tool, but it never worked (especially with the blob mesh)

A bit dark, light does not bounce enough off the surroundings. Fire looks good.

This shot shows some quite promising technical skill - although the wigs seem somewhat out of place, as if added just for the effect. The fire is fitting though, and not bad either. Needs some wood to fuel it though :) Next thing that needs to be addressed is the grass; and the foliage still seems to have problems, too, though I can't exactly pinpoint them at present. Something with the illumination I guess.
