Image description
Histories about Rlyeh came after my 20 000 leagues under the sea period. Chtulu is a little bit more frightening that the octopus. That s what i wanted to figure out !
Description of how this image was created
Chtulu is first humand hand modelled (a couple hours for me). I also linked for the first time a biped inside, to have my own pose. The rest of the building is not enough defined, but i didn't have enough time.

1.   23-10-2008 Height fields are cheap and easy for some good detail like you've done with the door. Problem with your door is that it's paper thin. The walls and ocean floor could have used a height field to give them more character. Chtulu looks like a statue. He's all one texture, even the eyes.
2.   14-10-2008 Fails to convey the intended dimensions, making the figure no more threatening than a Mattel toy; different viewing angle (from further below) might have done good. Somewhat far-fetched concept, and I never liked this Chtulu thing anyway... That beast seems to lack a wing (hidden behind its back?)
3.   14-10-2008 The character model is a bit weird, it doesn't look natural. The left arm is almost disastrous. The environment is somewhat basic. I don't feel the shot is really on-topic, but it's fun. The title could also have been "Death of Titanic", but I prefer the other one.
