Image description
The legend of toys coming to life and doing there own thing while we humans are not watching is something which I am sure every child dreams of at some point or other. And thus I represent a scene from just such an occasion when an untidy child has left there favourite play blocks lying around on the kitchen table. Sure enough and true our dreams a few manikins have begun to build a bridge. Where they desire to go is anyones guess but I feel perhaps the exiting world outside may be their true aspiration!
Description of how this image was created
As many will recognise the manikin is a model that I have used before however I have now revamped my macro and so now it is fully posable, hence allowing me in reasonable time to pose the number of manikins seen here. All the other modelling is plain csg aside from the tree which uses Gilles Trans ever useful tree macro. This is also a novel image to me as it is the first time I have investigated using focal blur at all. My only quibble is why it has made the tiles look so flat (any suggestions how to maintain 3Dness of these?)

1.   25-06-2008 A nice clean image, maybe a bit of dirt here and there? The thread looks good.
2.   18-06-2008 Well done. How did you do the blue thread? Very convincing. The perspective is well chosen.
