Image description
The first thing I have to say is that the idea for this animation is a steal from Gail Shaw. She posted a scene called Sci-fi experiment, on the Pov-Ray news groups. I let my imagination run away with me. So the fault is all mine but the good idea for the layout is hers. So thanks Gail http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/thread/<4638ba69%40news.povray.org>/?ttop=244549&toff=100&mtop=242384 The scene is set somewhen else, not here not on this plane. I leave it up to the viewer to tell the story. But whose story? Who is wearing the Black Robe? And why is the damsel in distress not wearing the robe? Where are the bodies going and why? I only saw the scene, who can explain my vision? I await in the darkness with only my vision and tormenting Peeves for company. Ochone! Ochone!
Description of how this image was created
The scene was built with and animated by Bishop3D a new Povray Modeller. It is still in Beta testing and not released yet. It is the first time I’ve used the animation features of a modeller and I have a bit to learn. So there are a few things I’m not happy with and the deadline for this competition has made me enter an “As good as I’m going to get it” entry. My biggest regret is choosing a set of 60 frames and not being able to increase it later without too much work (read time). The bodies were made in Poser and converted by PoseRay. The outside views were floating on my hard drive, two of then from Nasa.

1.   30-08-2007 Cryptic and honestly not what i'd have expected from an animation. Provides a starting point to the viewers imagination. Very interesting idea.
